1. Overview of Internet Service

This disclosure outlines the network practices, performance expectations, and applicable commercial terms for Squarecomm’s Broadband Internet Access Services (“Services”). These Services allow the transmission and receipt of data to and from virtually all Internet endpoints. The details provided here apply to Squarecomm customers utilizing our Network Supplier’s 4G LTE and 5G networks. This disclosure does not cover practices applicable to roaming partner networks.

2. Applicable Terms and Conditions

Your use of Squarecomm’s Broadband Internet Access Services is governed by our Terms of Service, which incorporate our Privacy Policy and Responsible Use Policy (collectively, “ToS”). These terms may be updated periodically, and it is your responsibility to review them regularly.

Use of the Services must comply with the ToS. Prohibited activities, including those outlined in the Responsible Use Policy, may result in suspension or termination of service. Dispute resolution procedures are also described within the ToS.

3. Data Plans and Throttling

Squarecomm provides mobile broadband services through compatible devices and SIM cards over our Network Supplier’s 5G and 4G  LTE networks. Access to either network depends on device capability and geographic coverage.

  • Metered Plans: Data is available up to the plan’s limit. After exhaustion, speeds are reduced to 0 kbps.
  • Unlimited Plan: Users may experience reduced speeds after 30 GB of data usage in a billing cycle, subject to network usage and congestion.

4. Expected Performance: Speeds and Latency

Network performance can be affected by a variety of factors including device capabilities, proximity to towers, network congestion, weather, building structures, and usage patterns (e.g., mobile hotspot use).

Typical performance metrics on supported devices within proper coverage areas are as follows:

5G Network

  • Download Speed: 70 – 320 Mbps
  • Upload Speed: 7 – 32 Mbps
  • Latency: 19 – 37 ms

4G LTE Network

  • Download Speed: 4 – 35 Mbps
  • Upload Speed: 3 – 17 Mbps
  • Latency: 24 – 40 ms

Actual results may vary due to environmental and technical conditions.

5. Network Management Practices

Blocking

Squarecomm does not block lawful content, applications, services, or non-harmful devices, except as described in this disclosure or the ToS.

Throttling

We do not intentionally impair or degrade lawful traffic based on content, application, service, device, or user identity, except as permitted under network management practices disclosed herein.

Prioritization

Squarecomm does not favor or prioritize traffic, including via traffic shaping or resource reservation. However, our Network Supplier may implement traffic management techniques that could affect prioritization during periods of congestion.

Congestion Management

During network congestion, speeds may be temporarily reduced to ensure fair access for all users.

Application-Specific Treatment

Squarecomm does not discriminate against or rate-limit lawful applications, nor do we alter protocol behavior in a non-standard manner.

6. Device Compatibility

Access to our Services requires a supported and compatible device. A list of approved devices is available upon request. The use of unsupported devices (e.g., modems, relay devices, or hardware intended for commercial bypass) is prohibited and may result in service termination in accordance with our Responsible Use Policy.

7. Network Security

Squarecomm is committed to maintaining the security and integrity of its network. Specific security measures are outlined in our ToS, including the Privacy Policy and Responsible Use Policy.
