By enrolling in or using SquareComm’s services, you agree to be legally bound by the terms set forth below.
- Acceptance of Terms
This Agreement becomes effective upon your acceptance, which occurs when you:
- Provide a written or electronic signature;
- Click to accept during online registration;
- Use or activate the Service;
- Pay for the Service;
- Open packaging of any SquareComm-provided device or SIM card; or
- Fail to activate Service within 30 days of purchase (unless the item is returned within the defined cancellation period under Section 5).
IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THESE TERMS, DO NOT USE THE SERVICE.
- Description of Service
SquareComm is an authorized UVNV Inc. reseller providing wireless voice, messaging, and data services within the United States, including U.S. territories. Service plans may include:
- Unlimited domestic voice and text messaging;
- Select international texting (countries listed on our website);
- Data access at varying speeds depending on your plan and usage;
- Reduced data speeds after plan thresholds are exceeded;
- Roaming coverage with limited speed (typically 2G) and usage caps.
Coverage maps are estimates and do not guarantee service availability or quality. Contact SquareComm for your specific data cycle reset date.
- Service Availability and Limitations
Service availability, quality, and performance may be impacted by factors such as:
- Network capacity and configuration;
- Environmental conditions;
- Device compatibility;
- Maintenance and upgrades.
SquareComm makes no guarantees regarding uninterrupted service. You agree we are not liable for service disruptions or deficiencies.
- Billing, Payments, and Fees
SquareComm services are prepaid monthly. Service begins upon payment and recurs on the monthly anniversary date. Failure to pay on time may result in:
- Immediate suspension of service;
- Termination after 30 days of non-payment;
- Loss of assigned phone number;
- Re-enrollment as a new customer, subject to availability and additional charges.
No refunds or prorated credits are provided for unused service periods. You may update your billing information via your SquareComm user portal.
- Cancellation and Returns
Service Cancellation
You may cancel a new line of service within seven (7) days of activation (or 30 days in California) for a prorated refund, available upon request.
- Taxes, Fees, and Surcharges
You are responsible for all taxes, fees, and surcharges, including but not limited to:
- Federal, state, and local sales and telecommunications taxes;
- Regulatory and administrative fees;
- Universal service fund contributions.
Fees are based on your Place of Primary Use (PPU). Providing inaccurate address information may result in tax miscalculations, for which you are responsible. Disputes must be submitted within 60 days of billing.
- Unpaid Balances and Collections
Unpaid charges are subject to:
- Late fees (greater of 1.5% per month or $5, up to legal limits);
- Collection actions, including referral to third-party agencies;
- Non-refundable fees for chargebacks or returned payments.
SquareComm reserves the right to recover costs associated with debt collection, including legal fees.
- Disputes and Chargebacks
To dispute a charge, you must notify SquareComm in writing within 30 days of the billing date. Acceptance of refunds or credits resolves the dispute. Unresolved disputes are subject to arbitration under Section 26.
Chargebacks not resolved in your favor may result in service suspension until repayment is received.
- Modifications to Terms
SquareComm may modify this Agreement at any time. Material changes will be posted on our website with at least 14 days’ notice, and we will make reasonable efforts to notify you directly.
- International Calling
International calling may be restricted. Where permitted, you are fully liable for charges incurred, including a 5% tax and fee surcharge. SquareComm reserves the right to collect such charges via your payment method on file.
- Phone Numbers and Device Compatibility
Phone numbers are not owned by you and may be reassigned. You may port your number if your account is active and in good standing. Devices not purchased from SquareComm must be compatible with our network. We do not guarantee service compatibility with third-party devices.
- Roaming
Roaming may occur even within SquareComm’s coverage area. Off-network usage is limited (typically to 50MB per billing cycle). Excessive use may result in service suspension or termination.
- 9-1-1 and Emergency Services
Service may not always support accurate 9-1-1 location or availability. You are responsible for providing location and call-back information during an emergency. Cloud phone services do not support 9-1-1 and by using them, you waive all related claims.
- Data Use and Content
We manage our network to ensure fair usage. High-speed data may be deprioritized during congestion. We are not responsible for third-party content or applications. Premium services may incur additional charges with a 5% tax surcharge. Content may be remotely modified or disabled as needed..
